Step by Step Instructions

Byteline step by step blog

In today’s era of cut-throat online competition, email marketing plays a crucial role in attracting and retaining customers. It’s no wonder that many businesses are using Mailchimp campaigns for email marketing. Mailchimp campaigns help you reach not only the mailbox of your target audience but also its a newsfeed with a few clicks.

But with hundreds of emails hitting the users’ inboxes, the odds of them opening your mail are low. As a result, you should resend the campaign to notify them. But, it can irritate those who have already opened the email.

One of the best ways to counter this situation is to use Byteline’s Mailchimp - Resend to Unopened task. This will allow you to send emails only to those who haven’t opened your email yet.

It will prevent you from getting involved in the manual process of replicating the campaign each and every time. Moreover, you need not manually create a segment group to send unopened emails.

All you have to do is to configure the following nodes to resend a Mailchimp campaign to non-openers.

Schedule Trigger Node- First of all, we’ll use the scheduler node to run the flow at a regular interval of time.

Mailchimp Resend to Unopened- After that, we’ll have to configure the Mailchimp - Resend Campaign to Unopened node to resend an email campaign to people who didn’t open it.

Configuring Scheduler Trigger Node

This Byteline flow will run on a scheduler trigger, which means once you configure the scheduler, you need not manually execute the task again and again. The node will continue to run on a daily, weekly, hourly, or monthly basis as configured.

Below are the steps to configure the Scheduler.

Step 1: Select the Scheduler node from the Select Node window. Hover the mouse over the scheduler node icon and click on the Edit button to launch the Scheduler node configuration window.

Step 3: To run the flow on a daily basis, select the day option from the dropdown and select other options as per your requirement.

Step 4: Once selected, click on the Save button to save the configuration.
